Moon rocket crash stirs debris, showering Nobel Peace Prizes on everyone!

This just in: a NASA rocket, designed to intentionally crash into the moon, has stirred up an enormous cloud of moon matter that is now entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

Among that debris, thousands of little Nobel Peace Prizes were present, and the first of these awards landed directly in U.S. President Barack Obama’s lap.

“We expected to find large levels of tritium, also known as hydrogen-3, and were hoping for water, but Nobel Peace Prizes?  Nobody saw this coming,” said a NASA spokesperson this morning.

President Obama was perhaps the most surprised by the moon dust’s contents.  “This is the last thing I expected on my doorstep this morning, but the award gives me hope.  America, if I can receive this prestigious award, so can you—Peace Prizes for everyone!” said Obama in a press conference this morning.

In other news, Barbara Streisand has hit #1 on the Billboard charts, making her the first artist to do so in five consecutive decades. For her record-breaking record, she will receive a Nobel Peace Prize.

Twelve year old Jennifer Valdivia, who was forced to return a record-breaking homerun ball hit by Philadelphia Phillies player Ryan Howard, successfully sued for the ball’s return. Valdivia will receive a Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts.

A 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland named Boomer may become the world’s tallest dog.  While Guiness officials have yet to confirm the dog’s height, Boomer will recieve a Nobel Peace Prize later this weekend.

Stay tuned for additional Nobel Peace Prize updates.

You forgot to give yourself one, too. And since they are free of charge, better disclose it.
