CROWDSOURCE DESIGN EXPERIMENT UPDATE: It was bound to happen, folks—voting has continued in all the polls and things are changing! [intlink id="2382" type="post"]Four days ago[/intlink], this site was going to have a Web 2.0 style. Today, Grunge/Baroque style has taken the lead, so I’ve got lots of changes to make! And, based on your voting on [intlink id="2412" type="post"]Day 7[/intlink], Arial and Georgia will be the primary fonts in this design. Remember, polls remain open for seven days, so there’s still time to toss the Blog Salad again.
Yesterday I launched my Psychology Today blog, You 2.0. It’s an exploration of the effects of technology on our identities, personalities, and social behaviors—a fine match to the general geekiness here on Blog Salad, methinks! It’s still in its formative stages, so I’d love some feedback either here or at You 2.0. To get a taste, please take a peek at the first post, written just in time for Mother’s Day:

Can you please remind us whether we can vote more than once??
You can only cast one vote per day, but you can change that vote for up to one week after the poll opens.
Why? What are you up to?
I, for one, want to say that I’m impressed with what you’ve done with the colors. I like it!
Jenny
Thanks, Jenny! But don’t get too attached; it’ll probably be different tomorrow.
I go away for a few days and when I come back, I think I’m in…a foreign land…cannot believe how it’s changed.
I LOVE the colors…aged copper and rust..
Glad you like, Barb! But as I said to Jenny—it’ll likely change again, so don’t like it too much.
Love the colors; love the concept; and I don’t have an iPhone, but if it did, there are certainly days I’d love it more than my mom.
Lisa, glad you like it!
Yes, my wiser-than-me editor at Psych Today warned that not all folks hold their mothers in high esteem—and I’ve received my first comment there confirming that.
