WordPress Stuff

Most of my design and development work is centered around WordPress, the open source content management software.  From time to time, clients ask me to develop special plugins and page templates that, well, are just too good to keep to myself.  Here are a few:

  • Display Timestamp in Edit Posts. This plugin displays the time of a post in a column of the Edit Posts area of the Dashboard. Useful for blogs with scheduled posts and multiple authors.
  • Display ID in Edit Posts. This plugin displays the unique ID of each post/page in a column of the Edit Posts or Edit Pages areas of the Dashboard. This very basic plugin could be a real timesaver for anyone who wants to quickly know “Where do I find my Post ID?” I think this will be especially convenient for users of the Query Posts plugin by Justin Tadlock and Widget Logic by Alan Trewartha.
